Lyons Colorado based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Arthur Lee Land plays a modern eclectic fusion of Americana Rock and Progressive Bluegrass with a taste of Electronica. Known for his joy filled, innovative live performances, his mad guitar and live-looping skills, Arthur’s hands are full theses days writing, recording and touring with multiple projects. First as a solo artist, you have his unforgettable one-man act employing the Art of Live-Looping to create his Electro-Americana BAND of ONE featured in his last studio album release Cracked Open. Then there is the new dynamic Arthur Lee Land TRIO crushing it live and gearing up for a new studio album. Next, Arthur replaced Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon in the veteran Colorado Americana Jamband Great American Taxi and their long awaited new album produced by Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth is being released in February 2017. On top of all that, there is the lovely side project featuring Bonnie Paine and Daniel Rodriguez of Elephant Revival that recently became folk rock icon Donovan’s band for a headline festival slot last summer.
“This guy exudes musical magic!” —Steve Szymanski, V.P. of Planet Bluegrass (Promoters of Rocky Mountain Folks & Telluride Bluegrass Festivals)
The Arthur Lee Land Trio features Will Trask (Great American Taxi, Jaden Carlson) on drums and Zach Jackson on bass, the energy of this band is infectious. The diverse musical Influences of Americana roots rock, country, funk, reggae, jazz, blues, bluegrass, world beat and electronica are evident in the band's improvisational journeys and the melodic lines coaxed from Arthur's signature psychedelic hand-painted 1955 Fender B-Bender Telecaster. The Trio explores electrified arrangements of classic Arthur Lee Land songs as well as new material slated for his next studio album featuring songs co-written with his non-performing lyricist and wife Carol Lee who contributes much of the lyrical content for “Arthur Lee Land.”
